Founded in 1989 by Slingshot, KingTurbo is one of Canada's Premier Dj groups. Since it's inception King Turbo has traveled to the four corners of the world as a ambassador representing Canada. In the over 30years in the business King Turbo has achieved many firsts such as being the first to introduce remixes to the reggae market. King Turbo has accumulated numerous honors and accolades within the 31 years in resistance such as recieving a Certified Gold Plaque from Universal Music Group for their contribution towards selling over 50,000 units in Canada. King Turbo also won the sound clashes world most covenant title for World Clash Champion in 2016 and 2017
King Turbo has been featured on Canada's premier music station Much Music numerous of times, as well as being invited to many radio programs while holding down their own show "The Morning Ride Show " on C.I.U.T. 89.5 FM for over 20years.
